Our Mission

The mission of the ֶƵ is to honor our nation’s veterans, to educate the public about our country’s military history and the contribution of our service men and women, and to preserve important and unique historic artifacts. The Museum reflects a love of country and gratitude to those who serve it by remembering and celebrating their service.

The ֶƵ is located in scenic Brevard, North Carolina. This small town in Western North Carolina is close to Asheville, North Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina in the Up-state. There is no charge for admission to see a large collection of military artifacts, uniforms, weaponry, original newspapers, personal letters, etc. The Museum honors veterans of all branches of the military but especially those of the Carolinas and the north Georgia region by displaying artifacts from the 20th century to current times. Donations by local veterans and their families help to document and preserve the contributions and sacrifices they have made.
